Everyday Matters | Cheryl Gerhard

Hi all! Happy Friday :) Cheryl here today with a fun layout for this month’s challenge: Time Machine. To continue with my ongoing theme of layouts of my fur baby I am scrapping pictures of him napping then and now.

I used Round Trip by Maggie Holmes, simply because I really liked the rainbow patterned paper. I started by brushing white acrylic paint into the two corners I want to use for my photos. I love adding some kind of paint behind my photo clusters, because it really makes them pop and stand out more. I like the texture it gives too.

I cut small slits between two of the rainbow arches in both corners to slightly tuck my cluster in. I layered lots of stickers, die cuts as well as doilies. The photos I used are of my cat napping on my bed a few years ago and now. He certainly upgraded his nap by using my favourite blanket (he has great taste!)

My title for this layout ‘Everyday Matters’ is available in the shop here. It’s the perfect title, as every day with my fur baby matters! It also connects both photos and creates a great connection between both clusters.

This is such a fun challenge and a great way to create a layout to document your loved ones then and now.

Don’t forget to upload your layout to the Bramble Fox Facebook group to be in the change to win £15 to spend in the shop.

xoxo
