Gondola Moments Together: A 4-Photo Venice Adventure Layout | Debbi Tehrani

What could be more magical than gliding through Venice in a gondola? This page captures that adventure with bold titles, playful stenciling, and storytelling Paper Snips from the September Fox Box Plus, along with a mix of other Bramble Fox goodies that make the memories shine. Since I scrap in the 8 x 8 format, the elements tend to appear a bit larger on my pages, which really helps showcase the bold designs of the Bramble Fox products.

I started with two fabulous title Perspextives from the September Fox Boxmoments and together. I love how bold and eye-catching they are! To customize my title, I paired them with some tiny red tile stickers from October Afternoon. The mix of fonts adds both interest and personality, while still keeping the focus on the beautiful Perspextives.

To bring in extra character, I layered in some older patterned papers from my stash and coordinating laser-cut elements from various 49 & Market collections. The red-and-white striped ribbon was a perfect find—it echoes the gondolier’s shirt in the photos and ties the design together beautifully. You’ll also spot the bubbly-looking circle stencil and a variety of word strips from the Paper Snips in the September Fox Box Plus, which are perfect for adding those little storytelling touches.

To enhance my stenciled background (created with Faded Jeans and Weathered Wood Distress Oxides), I rubbed on some subtle 49 & Market text phrases over the circles, adding both depth and interest. And of course, no Debbi page is complete without hearts! You’ll spot some heart Perspextives tucked into my embellishment clusters to add warmth and love.

I always enjoy using the word strips from the Paper Snips. With their great mix of phrases, they’re perfect for adding layers of story while also bringing extra charm and a pop of visual interest to my embellishment clusters. I layered some of the laser cuts with brads and topped off one of the laser cuts with a shimmery gold star Perspextive for a bit of sparkle and dimension. Bramble Fox has a wonderful variety of packs filled with stars and hearts, and they’re perfect little accents to sprinkle across your pages—adding instant charm and sparkle while tying everything together.

For a finishing touch, I created a visual triangle with pops of red—echoing the gondolier’s shirt again—by tucking a tiny strip of red patterned paper behind the third photo. Little details like the ticket tucked behind a photo, the clasp laser cut, and the clipped phrase all add those storytelling layers that make the page feel complete. I tucked a shimmery star Perspextive near the title to fill the little visual gap near the title and bring in another hint of gold, a simple trick I’ve picked up over the years for handling those awkward little trapped spaces.

This page was such a joy to create—layered with love, stitched with memories, and inspired by that unforgettable gondola ride. I can’t wait to see what you create with the September Fox Box. Until next time, may your creativity flow as smoothly as Venetian canals and keep your stories afloat.
