I was so excited to see the new New York Perspextives arrive in store, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect as I had just returned from an amazing trip to New York! Of course, I couldn’t wait to get them onto a layout and chose the large Statue of Liberty and Seeing the Sights titles for this page.
I started with a sheet of white cardstock and created my own background, adding a large 12” high Statue of Liberty stencil from my stash over on the right-hand side of the page. I wanted to keep this area quite bold so that I could layer the large Perspextive over the top later.

On the left, I added lots of stamped words in a variety of colours, building up the background and creating plenty of interest without taking away from my photos.

Once the background was finished, I had the perfect base for adding my photos and embellishments. I chose two photos from our trip and placed them vertically, one above the other, creating a strong central design. The Seeing the Sights title was then positioned so that it came into the middle of the two photos, helping to tie the whole composition together.

Over on the right, I added the large Statue of Liberty Perspextive directly over the stencilled image. I love how the two elements work together, creating a lovely layered effect and really emphasising the New York theme. I also added a badge that I purchased at the venue, which makes a lovely little reminder of our visit and adds a personal touch to the page.

I love how this layout brings together the iconic Statue of Liberty, our photos and those fabulous New York Perspextives to create a page full of memories from our trip!
Thanks for looking.
Until next time,
