My special someone - Petra de Vroege

Hi sweet friends!

Today I would like to show you this layout I made, using the gorgeous My special someone title from the March Fox Box. The Fox Box titles are so pretty!

I started this layout with printing this mandala circle in black and white so I could use it as a template.

I cut 1 of each element and cut the right amount from my patterned papers. I distressed all of the little triangles (I always use a pair of scissors). After finding the middle of the card stock, I started to position them and glue them down. I numbered the sheets of design papers I used because with the larger traingles it was hard to tell which one should be where…

The flowers are from PinkFresh Studio, I used matching oxides to colour them and layered them around my photo. That cute little candied heart finished the job. I really love those hearts!

After that I sew the little details and border with dark blue sewing thread, this time I did not use my sewing machine but decided to make one long line to keep it as crisp as possible.

Then the star of the show: the title. I’m repeating myself, but so pretty!
