One for the Album Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

Documenting travel memories is always one of my favourite ways to scrapbook, and this layout celebrating our recent trip to Belfast came together so easily with the September Fox Box. I used the One for the Album Perspextive as my main title, and the gorgeous turquoise shade was the perfect starting point for the rest of the design.   

I reached for the 49 and Market Travel Diaries collection. The colours and travel-inspired elements coordinated beautifully with the turquoise Perspextive, making it easy to create a cohesive page.

I used one main photo for the layout and placed the One for the Album Perspextive over the top, allowing it to become the focal point of the page.

I focused on keeping the layout balanced by building three main embellishment clusters around my favourite photo from the trip. These clusters help draw your eye across the page while adding plenty of layers and detail without overwhelming the design.

To ground the design, I added a narrow strip of washi tape across the layout before finishing it with the 2026 Adventures Perspextive from the July Fox Box. It was the perfect finishing touch for documenting this memorable adventure and tied the travel theme together perfectly.

Finally, I added a mini plane and heart perspextive in the same turquoise colour as the main title. These small details bring a fun, playful element to the page while reinforcing the travel story.

I love how everything coordinates so effortlessly, resulting in a layout that captures both the memories of our Belfast trip and the excitement of exploring somewhere new. It's a page I'll love looking back on for years to come.
