Party in the USA: A Festive Fourth of July Scrapbook Layout | Debbi Tehrani

The Stars and Stripes were flying high on my desk this month as I created this spirited 4th of July layout featuring Bramble Fox's new USA Elements and two festive Fox Cut stencils! These fabulous additions made it easy to bring out all the red, white, and blue magic of this special day. I paired the Bramble Fox goodies with Simple Stories' Stars, Stripes, and Sparklers collection, which beautifully complements the bold icons and sentiments in the Bramble Fox set. Since I scrap in the 8 x 8 format, the elements tend to appear a bit larger on my pages, which really helps showcase the bold designs of the Bramble Fox products.

One of my favorite ways to add personality to a layout is by mixing different alphabets to create a custom title, and for this page, I combined several styles to build “Party in the USA.” With such a bold plaid pattern in the background, I outlined the word party to help it pop and stand out. I also popped a shooting star sticker on top of the A in the bold USA Perspextive to ground the title and tie everything together. I love how all the layers give the title extra energy and dimension—just like a real celebration!

For the background, I layered two Bramble Fox stencils—the confetti Bubble dots (from the September Fox Box Plus) and Starburst—for a playful, festive backdrop. I layered torn patterned papers vertically in the center of the page and tucked smaller flag paper behind torn edges at the top and bottom to echo the energy of fireworks and celebration. Everything is grounded on a rich navy star paper, which gives the layout a patriotic base.

The medallion Perspextives from the USA Elements pack are real showstoppers! I built a layered cluster around one of them using coordinating stickers and paper pieces to help it stand out. I love the etched details on the acrylic—it adds subtle texture and visual interest without overpowering the design. I also tucked in one of Bramble Fox’s signature red acrylic hearts—a little personal touch I include on all of the layouts I gift. It’s a small detail, but it adds warmth and meaning to the page.

I built up the photo cluster with lots of layered goodness—patterned papers, a die-cut label, a double tag I saved from a piece of clothing, and photo corners I dug out of my stash. I love finding ways to give new life to little treasures I’ve saved, especially when they tie into the color palette and theme.

Finally, I used the red “USA” medallion and tickets from the Bramble Fox Elements set to create a second cluster under the photo. I layered these with a banner sticker, adding that final touch of festive flair. These little details help move the eye through the page and give it a dynamic, well-balanced look.

This layout was such a joy to create, and even if you're not celebrating the 4th of July (and many of my readers are happily across the pond!), the USA Elements pack is full of beautifully crafted pieces that lend themselves to vintage travel, trips to the United States, nautical adventures, or anywhere you want to evoke a bold red‑white‑and‑blue palette. Wishing you happy scrapping and star-spangled inspiration—whether you're documenting celebrations, family moments, or travels near and far, these bold USA Elements will make your memories shine bright in red, white, and blue!
