Priceless Moment | Debbi Tehrani

Hey, Bramble Fox fans! I'm here to share a lovely summery layout with you. I shared in another recent post that sometimes when I'm sitting stuck in front of a blank page, I get unstuck by scraplifting myself, and that's how this layout came about (you can see my layout I scraplifted here on my blog). For this page, I used the September Fox Box, some Paper Snips, an Epoxy Sticker, and a Fox Cut stencil. Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so the products look larger on my layouts.

I used the Summer Collection by Carta Bella, which I really think showed off the gorgeous teal Perspextives. I love the fanciful swirls in the "Priceless Moment" title piece from the September Fox Box.

I started off my page by making paint-y circles in the background, using texture paste mixed with yellow acrylic paint and Fox Cut Stencil #30. To tone down the boldness of the yellow and also add some textural interest and dimension, I used my finger to smudge a little gesso over the circles once they were dry, and then I added some sketchy outlines with a fine-tip pen. The phrase strip is from the Paper Snips that comes with the September Fox Box Plus. I outlined that, as well as the patterned papers to coordinate with the pen work I did on the stenciled circles.

How darling is that little clipboard that comes in the September Fox Box? The Paper Snips sheet that comes in the Fox Box Plus has a bunch of different bits that can fit on the clipboard.

Also included in the Fox Box Plus is the DIY Epoxy Flair Stickers. Basically you get circular epoxy stickers, and several circular images and phrases that you can either cut out or use a 1" punch and sticker them together and voila--you've got yourself some flair! I attached another phrase from the Paper Snips as a tab on the bottom photo. I added some stitching and a few enamel dots, and my layout was done!
