Scrapbook Inspiration By Rebecca Meadows

This A4 Scrapbook layout was 100% inspired by the stencil in the March Fox Box which will be shipping around the 3rd March.

For my layout today, I used papers from Simple Stories. A mix of True Colours and Noteworthy, I love the colours and they are a great match with the March Fox Box.

I began by using Stencil #92, inking using a blending brush and Tim Holtz Saltwater Taffy ink. I created a border all the way around the edge of the page.

This gives a fun, scribble effect, and is a perfect border to my layout.

I prefer to use the blending brush for these finer stencils, it allows much more control, giving the option to add more or less ink by altering the pressure on the blending brush and the ability to see more of where you are inking because of the smaller brush head.

Next, I began to build my main cluster. I wanted to go with soft colours as these matched with the paper snips in the Fox Box, plus

I layered papers, then used epoxy flair stickers added over pieces from snips 53.

The tab/heart is also fussy cut from snips 53.

My title cluster began with a small off cut of paper with the viewfinder wheel and tab from Snips 53 added over the top along with a flower from Snips 35. I edged all of my snips pieces with a fine glittered pen, this just highlights them and gives it a small amount of sparkle.

My final embellishments were all from the March Fox Box.

The title “weekend “is cut in matte black and is beautiful!

The hearts and little pink people are in a beautiful blossom pink. My layout is about my friends wedding and this pink is the perfect Match to her dress.
