Scrapbooking The Everyday By Rebecca Meadows
I love scrapbooking the everyday stories and this layout is one of those!

For this layout, I have used Vicky Boutin – create and discover papers as they go perfectly with the January Fox box
I chose to use a patterned background, then toned it down with a less patterned foreground.
I backed each of these onto black cards stock to give them a little bit of separation.

The photo I have used has quite a lot of colour in it, so this gave me the opportunity to use the different coloured pencils within this collection.
I fussy cut the pencils as well as fussycutting pieces from snips #49.
I lay at these vertically along my layout. tucking the stars into the pencils.

Next, I backed my photo which is a picture of my daughter during a meal out. She is at university and I often visit on a Tuesday night to have dinner with her. We have found a Thai restaurant which has become our favourite (or maybe mine) and I love the story and the memory that this photo tells.

I used wooden stars from the wooden stars and Word Fetti set, these match perfectly with the stars on the snips #49.
Next, I added the little things tab, which is included in January. Fox box, this took in perfectly behind my photo.
Finally, I added journaling from paper snips #49 Underneath my title, which is ‘write your own story’ also from January Fox box.

I love this title and it works perfectly with Isabelle‘s current journey through university.
The white splatters really finish off this layout.

Thank you for taking a look at my layout. Please head over to the Bramble Fox shop where you will find all of the latest goodies.
Rebecca.
