Spreading Joy Christmas 12 x12 Layout -Wendy Meffan

For this layout I am finishing up my December Fox Box using the Spread Joy perspextive. I felt it was perfect for those crafter who create the Pillar Box covers which just seem to appear overnight and are just so beautiful. I have also used the paper Snips #050 and #015 the papers are from December 2022 Hip Kit along with a few extras from else where.

I chose the main paper for the top and bottom borders as it was a knitted stitch pattern perfect to coordinate with the covers which were also knitted and crocheted. The green Spread Joy perspextive was also perfect as it picked out the green in the paper. I chose to make a cluster around the Spread Joy and position it in the top right corner of the layout. I added some epoxy flair from the paper Snips #050 and a tab from Paper Snips #015, along side some Christmas ephemera.

I had loosely positioned the two photos centrally over the large torn paper base of the layout, I then found an older paper with frames on it so cut two out and placed them behind. Then I cut some long strips and distressed their edges and attached them under the photos giving more of a base to the photos. I used Fox Die #16 whihc cuts out the Paper Snips lower shapes and it is brilliant and so quick! Not being great at fussy cutting I have found this a godsend! I embellished to right and left of the photos using the Paper Snips and also the mini stocking and candy cane sticks from the November products.
