Time for ice tea | Petra de Vroege

Hi sweet friends!

So good to see you again on our blog full of inspiration! Today I would love to show you this layout I made with the ultra cute Mini Tea Cups. I truly LOVE them! So, since I drink my tea from giant Mickey Mouse mugs, I didn't think it would fit those cute mini cups, but... I had the most delish ice tea in this cute little café that I instantly knew that photo had to be it!

So I decided to match the blue in the photo with the blue/minty tea cups and let that colour come back in the design paper and title. The other colour I decided on was the yellow of the ice tea.

So I die cut all the different size circles and simply stacked them. For the smaller circles I simply removed the bottom layers. And of course, I distressed the edges, because I cannot finish a project without some distressing happening on the page!

I cut the title with my Silhouette and coloured it with a matching distress oxide (Salvaged patina). Then I decided I wanted to accent with embroidery floss and used the Fox Cut #28 stencil as a template to punch the holes for the stitching. I love to use stencils in different ways and this stencil is a perfect template for stitching!

I hope you like it and got some inspiration from it! See you next time and happy crafting!

xoxo
