Tone on Tone Autumnal Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

Do you like Tone on Tone layouts? I chose to use Pinkfresh Studio Good Times Collection and chose the paper 12 x12 Change of Pace paper. It was split into three colours and my photo leant itself perfectly to the colour distribution. This is where I developed the idea to use tone on tone for this layout.

I used the Autumnal Paper Snips #014 and #041 and fussy cut all the leaves and the Autumn Days banner from them. I placed all the embellishments in colour coordinated piles.

I positioned my photo centrally on the page and then decided to create clusters around it. For my first cluster on the orange section of the paper I added the Sweater Weather perspextive from the Sweater Weather / Jumper set. I tucked in the fussy cut leaves and added a few leaf perspextives and an acorn from the Skeleton leaf set, and some older leaves from the Autumn Galore collection. Added to this was Happy Vibes from Paper Snips.

Next I moved to the purple section of the paper and created two tags from corresponding purple papers. I then painted the wooden jumper from the Sweater weather perspextive set in a corresponding colour. I created a couple of clusters over the the purple area again using the same perspextives. Some of the purple leaves were fussy cut from the Pinkfresh Studio Good Times Collection.

Finally I concentrated on the green area of the paper and followed the same process building up another cluster of coordinating embellishments. I also used the gorgeous Hello Autumn Acorn perspextives in this cluster.

To finish off the layout I added white paint splatters over the colours just to make it pop.

I was really pleased how this layout turned out and loved using such a variety of all the Bramblefox products. I also love being able to coordinate older and new perspextives together.
