Chilly Days!

Hi there! It's Wendy up on the blog today sharing a wintery LO using the lovely Chilly Days perspextive and the gorgeous Ice Skating boots from the December Fox Box.

I used some of last years Snow and Cocoa collection from Crate Paper. It is one of my favourite collections and I still had some left over from last year. I then cut a snowflake from the silhouette store. (design ID 232812 A Perfect Christmas collection by Echo Park) I raised the snowflake on sticky fixers for extra dimension and used stickles around the edge to give it a little sparkle.

I decided to back the Chilly Days perspextive just to make it stand out on the paler background

I wanted to make the Ice Skates a feature so hand cut a hole which I backed in the same as the border paper and used the stickles again around the edge and then let the skates hang over it. I couldn't resist adding some laces to the skates although it was a little tricky threading it through!

As my ideas developed I decided to use the stickles on the ice skate blades to make them sparkle. I can't believe how lovely this made them look!.

I had a few other perspectives from previous orders so used a bird and a snowflake pulling the whole LO together . Over all it has been a fun LO to create with beautiful embellishments from Bramble Fox
