Run Like The Wind

Hi everyone, I'm up on the blog today sharing another March LO , I can't believe we're already half way through March!!!. I was in Widemouth Bay, Bude, Cornwall on a very windy day a few weeks ago and our friend's dog Luka was racing over the beach, the kites were perfect to put with this photo to blow in the wind.

I started with the background and used watercolour paint to match the colour of the turquoise/green kite perspective, then I added the borders, to co ordinate with the colours again.

I painted some cardstock in the three corresponding colours to the kite perspectives using Art Alchemy acrylic paint and then I used my Big Shot to cut the swirls and felt they looked like the blusteryness of the wind. Luka had also been running round like a mad thing and it just summed up the moment!

I had a lot of fun pulling this LO together and am pleased with the final result, I also managed a bit of stash busting using up some very old thickers! complimented by the little Pink Fresh Joyful Day collection mini letters as I actually couldn't make the words from what I had left of the old ones .
