My Kinda People | Niki Rowland

Hey there Foxy Friends, Niki here today with a new layout featuring the 'My Kinda People' title that came in the March Fox Box. Yes I know, I'm a couple of months late using this one, but you know when you are just waiting for the perfect photo to come along? Well that just happened.

This photo of us was taken at one of our favourite spots on holiday. We don't often get whole family photos so it was great we managed to snap this one. It's a bonus that everyone is actually looking in the right direction and no one is pulling any awful faces...a rare treat! These guys definitely are 'my kinda people'.

I've used Maggie Holmes Sunny Days collection for this one. We're away on holiday so the beachy theme of the products worked well. I love the soft colours in the collection coupled with the dark blues and blacks. I made sure to include some of those darker colours so that the deep turquioise of the 'my kinda people' blended in nicely.

I also used the four little people that also came in the March Fox Box. They compliment this title of course. I had a little stress over the fact that there were only four people and there are five in my family photo...but in the end I decided to roll with it. I bet no one would even notice, but for the fact I've just mentioned it!

I also nestled in some small black heart perspextives...there were some black ones in my 'Hearts Galore' petite perspextives set which went perfectly with this layout. Here's another look at the completed layout. I used a foiled speciality sheet for the top half of the layout, lots of chipboard accents from the Sunny Days Collections and of course I added some sparkly sequins by Speigel Mom Scraps to finish off.
