Create Art | Morag Cutts

It's always fun playing with new things. I love this new Create Art Perspextive design - I really like the mix of fonts. A layout about a recent crafting trip was the perfect way to use it.

I wanted to create a rainbow effect coming from the paint brush stamp. Originally I wanted spashes of paint, but I had tried a couple of things without success so ended up painting with Distress Oxides. It was so much easier than my previous attempts!

I layered crepe paper streamers along the edge in matching colours - I love this pretty effect!

I used more crepe paper to back the Perspextive - I was originall going to use patterned paper or colour the background with ink but this added great texture and another pop of colour.

Finally I layered some fussy cut elements and die-cuts from the I Heart Crafting (Echo Park) collection. I hand cut some tags for a bit more interest. Did you notice the tiny jar of brushes? I cut out the elements from patterned paper and made a slit in the jar to slot them in. So cute!

The Create Art Perspextive is in stock now.

I also wanted to share the latest Fox Box and the super new free gift for subscribers (be still my beating heart!).
