Adding Impact with a large title | Julie Taylor

A large title adds so much impact to a layout & the new oversized titles in the store are just the perfect accompaniment to add to your page.

Welcome all to a new blogpost & have you seen the new large titles in store? I really hope you have & have managed to get your hands on one or 2!!! I got sent the Snapshots one in black & that was great as black goes with everything & snapshots can be used for anything!!!

This page is quite simple for me but seemed to take me the most amount of time to make!!! I think I loved the large Perspextive so much I didn't want to ruin the page!!!.

I started out with a patterned paper background, a VERY old pattern paper!!! & added a machine stitched square 1.5" in on all sides.

I added some rub ons to highlight the stitching.

I backed my photos with patterned papers & added them, vertically, down the left hand side, tucking in a doily & a few bits of ephemera.

This layout is about an adorable little coffee spot set in the woods, that does the most fabulous cakes & pastries, deffo one not to miss & deserving of it's own page!!

I added more paint swatch rub ons behind the large title, as it's open & they showed through, adding some interest.

The other half of the doily I added on the right side to draw you eye across & I added the delish tag, hanging from the title using some twine & adding a heart charm.
