Morning! I have my second DT layout for this month to share with you today.

I have been using Decembers Fox Box for this layout, I have added paper snips #15 #16 and an additional Snow Flake from the shop.

I began this layout by working on the background, I sat with Julie Taylor recently at the Paper Fox Retreat and watched how she makes her amazing mixed media backgrounds using a brayer, there is a video on bramble fox friends fb if you'd like to see! This technique worked well for my layout

I wanted to have the chilly days title take centre stage on my Layout, so I added the mixed media to the top and bottom of my layout. Next, I added my paper pieces.

I have used order Echo Park Christmas papers as they match really well with this title. I matted my photos to give them a black border, then started to embellish using fussy cut jumpers.

I added paper snips. I used the black and white gingham tag from Snips #15 from the Fox Box and tucked in behind my top cluster then added the matching gingham punched circle which I'd added an epoxy sticker to.

To finish, I added a snowflake from the shop, this particular snowflake is mirrored and to give my layout extra height and definition adhered it partly to the Chilly Days perspextive.
