Christmas Perspextive a different way | Julie Taylor

Julie Taylor

Do you ever see a title that's been made for a festive occasion & think of how to use it differently? As soon as I saw the title Jolly Good I knew I could use it for a none festive page & that's exactly what I did.

On it's own it screams Christmas but teamed with extra words & alphas it was easily changed into a fun, play title. I started by adding a bit of MM to my white cardstock using oxide inks & Fox Stamps #3, these are like paint splodges & give great control to where you add the ink which looks distressed. I've added splatters in a contrasting colour & once dry added some texture paste through stencil #84 top right & side left.

I added my photo cluster, over on the left, in an 'L' shape & added tabs, leaves, twine, die cuts & hand sewing, adhering the title perspextive on the top.

I placed a secondary cluster over on the right edge to draw the eye over & add balance.

Thanks for joining me today & take a look at your festive & occasion perspextives & see if they can be used in a different way.

Until next time,
