Cosy Fun - Joanne Bartell

Hello crafty friends! Joanne here sharing a fun winter layout for the December 2021 Bramble Fox Facebook group Challenge. I used the Hip Kit Club December 2021 collection for these cute photos of my great niece playing stuffed animals with my 17-year-old cat. I think she had more fun than my cat! These perspextives match perfectly with this kit!

I used a grid design and backed some pocket life cards with 1 layer of patterned paper and 1 layer of card stock. I then proceeded to design each card and photo like it was its own individual layout, making sure all 6 went well together. I used Bramble Fox goodies from the November Fox Box and the December Advent Box. These little winter creatures are so adorable I wish I had 10 of each!

December's challenge was Winter Sparkle, where we were asked to use 3 sparkle elements. I made a sequins shaker in a chipboard frame with some sparkly tulle to keep them in place. Second, I used some little gems (Honey Bee Stamps) on the inside of my flowers. Third, I used Nuvo glitter drops around my layout to add touches of sparkle. I even used a glitter marker to add sparkly accents to my flowers and my perspextives!

Backing your pocket life cards with 2 or 3 layers add lovely layers and interest to your grid design. You can add glitter marker or even Nuvo drops to your perspextives to give them shine and texture. Just remember to place your layout someplace safe overnight so they dry before putting into your album.

I also placed the Cosy and Fun perpextives on my layout. Just use a little glossy accents on your perspextive and they look beautiful adhered directly onto your photo.
