Create Movement In Your Layout With Hand Stitching

Hello Bramble Fox friends, today I would like to show you how with just a couple of rows of hand stitching you can create the illusion of movement on your page. My layout began with backing the 'Pencil Boarder' Cut File using papers from the 'Work of Heart' collection from Rosie's Studio, this gave me a great base from which to anchor the rest of my layout from.

I slightly tucked my obligatory first day of school photo behind the Pencil Boarder Cut File & from that I wanted to create an explosion of school accessories. The little paper planes in the School Elements pack were just perfect, with a back stitch in colour coordinating embroidery thread I made them look like they were flying through the air!

Next I added my 'School Days XL' title. To bring balance to my page I backed my perspextive with the same patterned paper that I had used at the very bottom of my layout, the black & white alphabet print couldn't have been a better companion for the School Days title.

To finish, I added a sprinkling of Nuvo drops, again adding to the explosive effect. Want to make your layout come to life? Why not add a bit of stitching, simple but very effective!
Until next time, much love,
Em xxx
