Deck The Halls | Rebecca Meadows

Hi All, I'm here today to sharing my third DT layout for this month using December Fox Box pieces along side the Deck The Halls title which is available in the shop.

I have used Simple Stories - Hearth and Holiday collection as it has the same traditional colours as the perspextives I'd planned to use.

I started by cutting strips of paper. I used repositional glue to stick them down, I then gently lifted one end of each strip and used a blending brush to ink, giving a shadowed effect to each strip then used the sewing machine to stitch each strip down.

Next, i backed my photo and stuck it down adding a pom pom trim to the side for added texture.

Now time to embellish !!

I wanted to add a horizontal embellishment line as everything so far was vertical .

The truck and Christmas trees from the fox box are just the cutest! I love the etched detail

i added Deck The Halls to the right of my photo and used Snips #15 to add a little pop of red.

With my layout almost complete, I noticed there was an odd blank space at the bottom, so I added a tag, fussy cut Holly and a third journaling strip from snips #15.

I finished by adding splatters and Pink Fresh gems.
