Hello Bramble Fox friends!!

Nicole here and today, I'm sad to say, that I'll be sharing my last layout as a Bramble Fox team member. It has been a fantastic time and I'm sure you will just LOVE the new team!!

Today, I'm featuring the beautiful "destination" blue perspexitive from the July Fox Box. I paired this piece with with a gorgeous beach collection from my stash and it created the perfect title!

For my background, I misted a few sprays in three different color blues on the bottom and then a pale yellow/tan on the top. I used this to mimic sand and water. I then stitched a large circle around the page. This helps to ground the embellishments and it also helps to flatten out the paper from all the warping. On the bottom, I created a sea of water rub-ons, fish from the Little Fishes pack and color matching enamel dots. I also used this space to add my journaling and date.

On the top of the page, I used this space to feature a photo I recently took of my self at the beach. I loved this hat I was wearing and felt it coordinated with all of the embellishments perfectly! I popped a lot of pieces up on to foam adhesive to add a lot of layers and dimension. I also added in tangled thread to get even more texture on the page.

For a finishing touch, I added a few more rub-ons, lots of enamel dots and finished my page off with a flag and a few pieces on the top left of the page. I felt this area was a bit empty and that it just needed that extra something.
