I absolutely love documenting Christmas, it's so full of magic & the 'Festive Stories' perspective in the December Fox Box is perfect for any story. It's bright red colour allowing me to mirror the red within my photo's & scrapbook collection.

I layered strips of patterned paper of varying widths onto my page, then machined stitched along each edge. My photos took centre stage, 4x6 & 3x4 inches in size.

I added ephemera clusters to the top left & bottom right of my layout, creating the diagonal, therefore drawing your eye across the page. I then added my title overlapping my photos, however, before adding my title I painted the back with white acrylic paint to make it less translucent, the red lost it's vibrancy against the deep blue of my photos.

This is a great tip when you want any translucent in colour perspective to be more opaque. But be warned, wait until the paint is definitely dry before adhering it to your page, I won't tell you how I know this!

To finish, I wanted to add a little blue to echo the blue of the photos, so I used blue perspective stars & sequins. How many December stories have you documented so far? Please feel free to share them on the Bramble Fox Friends facebook group.
Until next time, much love,
Em xxx
