Easy Breezy state of mind | Julie Taylor

Hello everyone & welcome back to the blog.

Julie back with you today & I'm sharing a layout using the June Fox Box Plus. This one is full of lovely bright colours & summery icons.

I choose Easy Breezy as my title, which could really depict any senario but I went with long summery days, full of fun.

I started by adding a bit of MM to my background. Following on from Marvollous Monday & Morag using stencil #48 Cloudy, I used this with some Salvaged Patina oxide ink to give me a subtle cloudy background.

Then I cut a 8.5" circle & split it into sections, which i distressed & added back together, on the page, with a gap between each segment. I added some thread over each segment for added texture.

I fussy cut the clouds off the paper snips #075 & added those to the left.

I matted both photos & added them at the bottom of the circle/sun & built up my clusters around them, at the top right & all along the bottom.

Using stencil #119 I added some stitching to the paper strips bottom right & to one of the clouds.
