Frame Your Layout With One Easy Step

Creating a frame for your layout by removing the inner part of your patterned paper can give you a great place to start & a place to anchor the other elements of your page. it's also totally customisable, for my layout I made my frame 2 inches thick.

Placing my 4x6 photo in the bottom left hand corner I began to embellish the rest of my frame, taking my time to balance out the shapes & colours. I used embellishments from Bramble Fox Paper Snips #080 & Simple Stories 'My Story' collection.

I then added my 'Perfect' title (in the November Fox Box), backed with patterned paper, I absolutely love titles like these, so versatile. It nestle right next to my photo & I added my journalling strips immediately underneath.

Then it was time for some finishing touches, I added three butterflies to my page with hand-stitched trails in white three strand embroidery thread, plus a sprinkling of gems, sequins & Nuvo Drops. Next time you don't know where to start try a frame!

Until next time, much love,

Em xxx
