Good Stuff! - Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It's Wendy here with my first layout in May and this month I am using some of the May products and a bit of left over April Fox Box. I have also used the gorgeous Fox Cut Stencil #56 with the honeycomb on as a background, along with paper Snips #025. The paper collection and frames were from Hip Kit Club kit and Pinkfresh Studio Chrysanthemum collection.

To start my layout I had a little play with the chipboard frames and gradually added pieces around them, I quite liked what I had created but decided I needed a background of some kind and found my Fox Cut Stencil #56, this offered the perfect semi solid background I was looking for.

I decided to split the layout into two parts so focused initially on the photo placing it towards the bottom left of the page, I tore a few paper strips and placed a couple vertically to the left of the photo. Then I added the chipboard frames. I fussy cut some floral clusters and arranged them around the photo. From the Paper Snips #025 I fussy cut several word phrases and the circular 'Good Times'. I arranged these around the photo with some of sticky fixers for a bit of dimension.

I added the Bliss perspextive from the May Fox Box, so perfect for our cocktail photo!

Then I moved to the top right of the layout and added a few more torn paper strips but this time horizontally, again I used a fussy cut floral cluster and a chipboard frame. Then I adhered the Good Stuff perspextive over the top. I fussy cut a cute Camera and the Sunny Days word phrase from the Paper Snips #025.

Finally using some Campbella Watercolours I added some pink splatters across the layout.
