Mixed Media layout & large title to add impact.
I just loved the look of the new festival perspextives in store but having not attended a festival what was I to do!!! There's always a way round such problems & in scrapbooking anything goes...right??

My daugther has recently visited Dublin & the infamous Temple Bar & sent me these photos & they were just perfect!!!
The colours in the perspextives I wanted to use were red, blue & black & I knew I'd not got a collection to match that so I turned to MM. Using my oxide inks I swatched a piece of heavy, gessoed white cardstock in black, red & blue, adding in some texture paste using stencil #124 to add some interest. The gesso really helped with the added water on my page & once dry I added lots of splatters, in all the colours, to give me my background.

I did a bit of machine stitching over on the left to add my large Legendary title onto & made up the words 'Temple Bar', using beads & added those underneath.

I made up my 2 photo clusters, adding in bits of ephemera, in my chosen colours, & placed one top left & the other over to the right. Around these i added more ephemera bits & placed a few of the perspextives from the festival packs.

I think this layout really shows the fun time my daugther had & she now has a fabulous memory of the occasion.
Thanks for joining me today.
Until next time,
