Love This Life!

HI Everyone!, I can't believe we're in May already! For my Layout I'm using the Love this Life perspextive from the April fox box and the gorgeous stars which were released in March and are super versatile and can be used in so many different ways. Using up stash is also a huge plus!!!

I have used the Dear Lizzy She's Magic Collection which is one of my all time favourite collections and I have saved some of it but with my stash busting efforts I felt I should use it.

Initially I made a mixed media background using distress oxides and then cut strips from the collection, distressed their edges and machine sewed them across the page.

The photo is of a beach we go to in Spain and and the feel good factor when I'm there is wonderful so the Love this Life perspextive was perfect for the picture. I also liked the contrast of the dark matt grey to the light colours of the photo and the papers.

I added the the postcard ephemera to the layout and then fussy cut the flowers and arranged them vertically down the page and positioned the Love this Life perspextive over the top.

I then added further stickers to the layout and felt it could take the big star perspextives so added them, following the rule of three in design and helping to balance the layout.
