Hello everyone! It's Anna here with my first scrapbooking layout created with JANUARY FOX BOX Perspextives and a bunch of cut files. My assignemt this week was to use pretty Winter Memories phrase, which kind of dictated what kind of photos I will be scrapbooking. Title is in blue color, which helped with narrowing down color palette I was going to reach for. However, what inspired me the most was a new cut file called SNAPSHOTS POLAROIDS.

I know it doesn't look wintery at the first glance but I had this idea to replace stars with snowflakes. Cut file is constructed the way, that stars as a seperate shapes so it was super easy to just cut the frames and titles with white cardstock. Before printing my photos, I cut out the frames first to measure the openings. I chose five pictures and a piece of cardstock that went under my Perspextives phrase.

I mentioned replacing stars with snowflakes but where to find them as they are not the part of this particular design? If you have metal dies with snowflakes in bigger sizes, you can use them. I reached for other cut files from Bramble Fox collection - LET IT SNOW and BAUBLES. I only focused on snowflakes skipping other designs from the files. They are a separate images so it was easy to grab them and group on sepearte project sheet. I used blue cardstock to cut them out.

With all the elements cut out I was ready to start creating my page. I chose dusty pink cardstock to back the Snapshots title. This is the color I decided to mix with a frosty shade of blue. You can also spot little red accents to make the page more lively.

Perspextives title Winter Memories has a perfect shade of icy blue. I usually reach for more teal / mint shades and it was such a refreshing process to create with a new color combo and step out from my comfort zone.

That is all for today crafty Friends. I hope I inspired you to think outsidie the box when it comes ot cut files. You can mix and match them easily, especially the ones from Bramble Fox as they are send to you as a separate layers and images. This is such a ingenious idea!
I will be back soon with my last page for 2025. A little hint - it will be in christmas theme!
XO Anna
