Hello & welcome to the blog. Have you seen all the new perspextives in the store of different countries? lots to choose from & I'm sharing a layout today using the USA Elements set. I was very lucky & got to go to New Orleans last year with a group of friends & while there we went on the steamboat Natchez down the Mississippi river!!! Such an awesome event that needed documenting.

On the boat they had a small shop, which of course we had to visit!! We found these old looking documents of advertisements for the ship & of course had to buy one each, as scrapbookers thinking we'd use in a project!! Well I finally managed to use mine on this layout.
I first cut a circle into a 12x12 piece of patterned paper, I crumpled up the paper we'd brought, to make it look old, & glued & sewed into place behind the circle. This gave me a base to work on.

I placed some pompom trim, a zip & a strip of patterned paper just up from the bottom of the circle, this gave me a 'shelf' to add my photos onto. I added my photos onto some patterned papers & chipboard frames & placed on top of the 'shelf' over to the right.

Around the photos I tucked in some ephemera, extra piece of the paper with the boats name & the perspextives out the set.

I added a small cluster top left to draw the eye around the page.

I've loved doing this page, once I'd got my head round how to use the paper off the boat!! & it's another memory documented of an awesome trip.
Thanks for joining me.
Until next time,
