Out and About Scrapbook 12x12 Layout - Wendy Meffan

Outdoors scrapbook layout using dies. I am using the City Map Die #10, along with Paper Snips #035 and #038, I have also used the SNAP perspextive from the September Fox Box and the Out and About Perspextive from the Day Trip set which comes with these two Summer titles. For the background I used a paper from the June Hip Kit.

Having chosen my background paper which was split into two colours I used a craft knife and cut between the two colours and then distressed the edges to give a textured look to the layout.

I then used the City Map Die and cut a map to use as background for the photos. As my photos were of London Streets it was the perfect background for them. I am quite literal at times as a scrapbooker and so always enjoy the embellishments coordinating with the photo subject.

I fussy cut the whole sheet of Paper Snips #035 floral ephemera. It makes it easier to work with having all the pieces at hand to play around with for positioning. Having fussy cut the flowers I then arranged them in clusters around the photos.

I used a small envelope from the June Hip Kit and popped the St Pauls's London underground perspextive into it. I added some more of the floral paper snips in a cluster around it.

Where the apepr colour changed i chose to place the out and About perspextive as a title for the layout. i added a few floral paper snips around it and then fussy cut some clouds from Paper Snips #038 which I added at the top of the layout.
