Spring Memories | Cheryl Gerhard

Hi all! I hope you’re having a lovely day :)

I’m here today to show you my March challenge layout. I love tic tac toe challenges, because you have so many possible combinations of elements to include on your layout. I opted for spots, splatters and stitching.

I started by cutting 3 big flowers and carefully did some machine stitching around the edges, for extra texture. All of the papers I chose from Simple Stories’s Bunnies & Bloom collection have spots/polka dots printed on them, which were ideal! Plus the colours are lovely too.

I layered all 3 flowers and added my photo, as well as a cluster of embellishments. The Spring Moments and flower perspextives are from the March Fox Box, which you can subscribe to here. I bet you’re all wondering why I’m documenting a photo of my cat on a Spring layout? That’s because we moved into our house in Spring 2020 and the first thing my cat Lexie did, was claim this beautiful pink velvet storage chest in my craft room, haha!

I finished my layout by adding some splatters around my photo / flower.

Don’t forget to add your layout to the Bramble Fox Friends Facebook group here, to be in the chance to win £15 to spend in the shop!
