Treasured Moments in Portsmouth: A Day to Remember with Our Australian Family

Our day trip to Portsmouth with our visiting Australian family was filled with laughter, sunshine, and unforgettable memories — the kind of day that simply had to be documented in a special way. For this layout, I turned to the August Fox Box and crafted a beautiful grid-style design to capture the highlights of our adventure.

At the heart of the layout, I placed the “Treasured Moments” perspextive title, from the August Fox Box which perfectly summed up the spirit of the day. Surrounding it, I arranged multiple photos ( 4 up 0n the selphy without borders) from our walk around Portsmouth — from exploring the historic dockyard to watching the boats glide across the water. Each photo held a story, and together they formed a vibrant tapestry of the day's joy.

To bring the layout to life, I used the lobster and boat embellishments from the Fox Box. Their playful charm and nautical theme worked beautifully with our photos — a subtle nod to Portsmouth’s rich naval heritage.

The large geo tag with a compass placed a the top of thr layout added an adventurous touch, grounding the page in a sense of exploration and travel.

For the colour palette, the 49 and Market Summer Porch collection was a perfect match. Its soft, summery hues blended effortlessly with the tones in our photos — blues of the sea, warm sunshine, and pockets of red — bringing cohesion and warmth to the layout.

This page doesn’t just display photos; it tells a story. It’s a snapshot of connection, family, and summer joy — a treasured moment indeed. I loved combining the Fox Box elements with beautiful paper and memories to create something that we’ll all look back on fondly for years to come.
