Sharing a layout using a title from the January Fox Box.

Christmas baking always brings a special kind of magic & this might be one of my favourites yet. I built the layout around three photos—two smaller snapshots tucked into the top left corner and a larger photo anchored at the bottom right. Together they create a cozy visual triangle that pulls the eye across the page, almost like following the scent of freshly baked gingerbread through the kitchen.

The top-left photos capture those fun, in-the-moment baking bits: hands dusted with flour, cookie cutters scattered across the bench, & that cheeky grin. To frame that cheerful chaos, I layered little embellishment clusters full of vintage-style tickets, subtle rub-ons, and tiny frames that echo the nostalgic feel of holiday baking. I tucked in a few labels and tags, too—just enough to add texture without overwhelming the photos. The pops of miniature cooking utensils peeking out from the clusters make me smile every time; they’re such a sweet nod to the theme.

On the opposite side, the larger bottom-right photo sits like the star of the show. It’s the moment we all wait for... licking the spoon, the best bit of baking!!! I placed the perspextive title right along the bottom edge of the photo, and it fitted perfectly, almost like it was made just for this spot. The mix of the bright red, from the puffy alphas, with the deep navy of the perspextive helps anchor the whole page.

To finish everything off, I paired the title with those cute little wooden gingerbread men. They add the perfect bit of whimsy and warmth, tying together the baking story and giving the page that handmade, heart-filled Christmas feeling. This layout truly captures the sweetness of the season—both in the kitchen and on the page.
Thanks for joining me today.
Until next time,
