Chilly DAy Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

I have used the January Chilly Day perspextive along with the Woodland Pine perspextive set and the Winter Warmers set, all so perfect for my layout, documenting my Son and girlfriend out in the park after the snow. i have used Simple Stories Simple Vintage Fresh Snow Collection.

As we are approaching February and Valentine's Day I decided to create a heart shape for the focus of my layout which was perfect for my photos. I then cut a heart from 12x12 white cardstock and placed one of the patterned 12x12 papers behind and used it as the background for the layout. I then cut the cardstock down and added a green border to compliment the colours.

I had this crazy idea to use the Woodland pine set to create a border around the edge of the heart, using some older hat, scarf and jumper mini perspextives I had just enough to get around the border! I spent a long time positioning them to make it work!

I then matted my two photos and tucked them into the point of the heart, I added the Chilly Day perspextive from the January products at the base of the right photo and attached two older mitten perspextives with string.

I then tucked in a couple of tags and a few tickers from the paper collection behind the photos. Finally I added the Mugs on a string bow and Snowflakes from the Winter Warmers Collection to finish off the layout.

I love how this layout turned out and enjoyed using so many perspextives!
