My Someone Special | Nicole Santos
Hello fellow crafters, Nicole here with my very first Bramble Fox blog post and challenge page! I'm using some brand new little bits from the March Fox Box, specifically the yellow and pink little flowers and the "My special someone" title perspextives. I'm also using some of my "Super Stars" perspextives in pale pink and some of the very cool "Paper Snips". This month's challenge is a tic tac toe...
I have gone with the Stars, Splatters, and Stamping to make my tic tac toe, three in a row. I started with the splatters on my page and I have to admit that I did scraplift myself for this layout cause I knew it would be just as lovely as my original.
After my splatters I did my paper piecing. I'm using my February Hip Kit Club kit for all the gorgeous papers and the fussy cut flowers on my layout here. I used 3 different 1/2 inch strips of paper running vertical behind my picture, and the leftover pieces in a cluster in the lower right corner.
I matted my photo with a pale pink paper and fussy cut all the flowers from another. Before I started my embellishment clusters, I stamped with several stamps from the Crate Paper Magical Forest Clear Stamps. I used the big star, the smaller star, and the "You're my Favorite STAR" stamps all around my page.
I added fussy cut flowers, the pink and yellow flower perspextives, and "Super Stars" to 3 clusters on my page. I also added my title "My special someone" perspextive.
To finish this layout I used some "Paper Snips" and journaling to the right of my photo.
