Sweet as Sugar -Wendy Meffan

Hi Foxy friends! it's Wendy here and today I'm sharing a layout using some of the latest shop perspextives with a `Valentine's theme and also those cute little Winter Animals perspextives. (i've been hoarding them!) I found this gorgeous photo of my niece and great nephew in Australia and with the colourings on the photo and the cuteness decided the little Winter Animals would be perfect along with the Love Heart to go on the layout.

I chose to use coordinating colours from the photo and the perspextives so used some of my October Hip Kit for the orange and grey combination. I used distress oxides to make the back ground and added some grey splatters, then I cut the papers into different size squares. I distressed their edges and then used a fine line pen to draw on faux stitching. I used a scalloped circle punch and found the animals were the perfect size to sit in the circle and make them more prominent.

I placed the photo in the centre of the layout as the main feature and added the square with the large Heart perspextive on it to the left of the photo with the arrow pointing towards the picture.

I then added the rest of the animal perpsextives to the punched circles and glued them on with glossy accents. I raised the circles on sticky fixers to give more dimension to the layout. I punched some mini circles and added some small blue heart perspextives which coordinated with the Tyler's dummy!

I added the Sweet as Sugar chipboard sticker and a punched tab to the side of the photo as extra embellishments. I then fussy cut some flowers and trees and dotted them around the layout, raising them on sticky fixers.

Finally I made a small cluster at the top right of the layout and added another cute little animal perspextive to a tab I found in my stash.

I hope you feel inspired to use up some of your older perspextives and mix them up with the new ones. They are all so versatile and can be used in different ways to the themes which they were created for.
