There’s just something magical about autumn — the golden light, the crunch of leaves, and the stories waiting to be told. Today, I’m sharing a layout that captures that seasonal magic, from pumpkin patch adventures to the rich, cozy colors of fall. I’ve paired the Autumn Stories title and Leaf Perspextives from the October Fox Box with the intricate Lacey Autumn Background Stencil and some fabulous Paper Snips from the Fox Box Plus. Opening a Fox Box always feels like unwrapping a little parcel of creative joy, and this month’s autumn‑inspired treasures had me diving straight into my favorite fall photos to bring those memories to life. 🍂 I scrap in an 8x8 format, so you might notice that the Bramble Fox products look a bit larger on my pages — which I love because it really makes them stand out!

A Stunning Title Takes Center Stage
The first thing your eye notices is that gorgeous golden Autumn Stories Perspextive. I love how bold titles create instant impact on a page. To make it pop even more, I used the Lacey Autumn Background Stencil with Antique Linen and Wild Honey Distress Oxides to softly blend a warm, leafy background behind the title. The soft inked background gives just the right amount of interest without overpowering the page.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: When using ink with stencils, try blending two coordinating colors for a soft, natural effect. I started with Antique Linen for a light base, then added Wild Honey just around the edges to give the leaves more depth and a warm, autumn glow.

Layering and Pattern Play
I created a cozy home for my three pumpkin patch photos by using two patterned papers in rich autumn tones. The softly inked background from the stencil adds just enough contrast to make the patterned layers stand out while keeping the overall look warm and cohesive.
To tie everything together, I added a Film Strip Border in brown — it connects the two patterns and coordinates perfectly with my brown photo mats. A second film strip border in orange helps separate the stenciled area from the rest of the layout and brings in another pop of autumn color.

A Closer Look at the Details
This layout really comes to life through all the little details. I combined Paper Snips leaves with Leaf Perspextives to build three balanced embellishment clusters that draw the eye around the page. And because I always like to add a bit of love to layouts I give away, I tucked in a tiny heart Perspextive for a sweet, personal finishing touch. 💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: When building embellishment clusters, aim to place them in a visual triangle around your photos. This helps guide the viewer’s eye through the page and keeps the focus where you want it — on your story and photos.

Pumpkin Patch Woodie Focal Point
One of my favorite elements on this page is the engraved Pumpkin Patch Woodie from my stash. I always love to order Woodies when I see them in the shop because they give such beautiful texture, and on an autumn page, texture is key. To give it extra presence, I stenciled a leafy design onto cardstock with Distress Oxides, fussy cut it, and layered it behind the Woodie. I tucked in a few Paper Snips leaves for extra texture and movement. This little cluster makes the perfect title companion and really reinforces the pumpkin patch theme.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Try stenciling onto a separate piece of cardstock, then fussy cutting the design to create custom die cuts. This gives you the flexibility to move them around and layer them exactly where you want — and it’s a great way to stretch your stencil stash!

Adorable Pumpkin Cart
The cart from the Paper Snips instantly became the star of my lower cluster. I popped it up with foam dots to create dimension and give the scene a playful, almost 3D look. Then I sprinkled copper pearls around it for just the right amount of shine and a polished finish. After finishing most of the layout, I left the page overnight and came back with fresh eyes. That’s when I added the “autumn vibes” stamping and a few copper pearls at the very end—a simple step that really pulled everything together. I love this trick because it’s amazing what a little pause can reveal!
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Popped-up elements add energy and movement to your layout. When you have a special image — like this pumpkin cart — raising it off the page makes it feel extra important and brings your layout to life.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Leave your page overnight before calling it done. Coming back with fresh eyes often helps you spot the perfect finishing touch—like a little stamping or a few pearls—to make your layout feel complete.

I’m so glad you joined me for this autumn tale. I hope you’re inspired to leaf through your own fall memories and spin them into beautiful stories with your October Fox Box treasures. 🍂 Until we meet again — may your days be filled with crisp air, warm colors, and happy creating!
