Winter - Wendy Meffan

Hi foxy friends! It's Wendy here and I'm sharing a layout using some of the gorgeous word perspextives from the December Foxbox. At the beginning of the year we had a sudden rush of snow and were lucky enough to pop out and get some snow photos and of course I never got around to scrapping them all so the Winter perspextive was perfect for my photo.

I had decided to make a wreath layout as I had a lot of wintery ephemera from last years December hip kit which I hadn't used. I used my pearlised watercolours and painted a blue circle and then added a second layer of silver to it.

I wanted the Winter perspextive to be the main focus and title of the layout so planned to place it above the photo. I matted the photo and added a chipboard frame over it and kept moving it around the circle until I settled on it being on the bottom left and then placed the Winter perspextive at the top. I then added a few pieces of ephemera around the perspextive and raised some on sticky fixers for dimension.

Then I spent quite a while with all the wintery ephemera arranging it in circle until i was happy with it. I raised some pieces on sticky fixers and left some pieces flat to the page.

Once the circle was complete I felt the area by the photo was a little sparce, so I cut a strip of black checked paper and added some mini pompoms and then fussy cut some little houses and made a little scene to the right of the photo.

I then added the FUN perspextive to my photo in the corner which was just perfect and coordinated so well to the colours of the layout.

I then added a few puffy word phrases and finally had a bit of fun with some white splatters randomly over the layout.

This fox box has to be one of my all time favourites with the little creatures and a compliment of words and tabs.

We love to see your layouts so do post them in the Bramblefox Friends facebook page .

Don't forget to check out all the new stock in the shop, it's all so tempting!

Until next year Happy Scrapping! Happy Christmas and Happy New Year!

Stay safe and see you then xxx
